Item Implosion/Explosion
Microtech Cloud enables you to implode items from smaller SKU units into one or more different SKU unit. For example packing boxes onto one or more pallets for transport, or individual items into one or more shipping boxes.
Microtech Cloud Item Implosion also enables re-costing stock items, in addition to quantity conversions from one unit to the other. Item Implosions also checks for more than 15 levels in a product's structure. It also identifies inadmissible parent/component/parent loops.
Microtech Cloud Item Explosion enables the opposite, exploding an item into smaller SKU units. For example, pouring a 1000 gallon chemical tank into smaller one gallon units. As with implosion, the system takes care of re-costing and quantity conversions.
Both implosion and explosion are saved as warehouse transactions so you could keep track of your quantities and costing.
